  • Senior Project Manager involvement during the final stages of the Shurtan Gas-Chemical project in 2000 during the time with ABB Lummus Global. A logistic challenge had been achieved by shipping a major part of the heavylift equipment by Air from Japan to the Shurtan jobsite by use of 3 Antonov 124, making it possible to finish the project’ challenging time schedule.
  • Complex logistics solutions were investigated and surveyed in 2001/2002 for the Kirishi Hydrocracker Complex Project in Kirishi, Russia. The plant is owned by Surgutneftegaz, with it’s subsidiary KINEF, also playing a key role in the decision making process and is located approximately 150 km from St. Petersburg. In a time span of 2,5 years some 250.000 tons is being moved. Several solutions and scenarios have been designed and presented to the project team as well as the principal to streamline the logistics.
  • Involvement on senior logistic advisory in the design and preparation of the logistics execution plan for Sakhalin I project which ABB had been awarded in 2002 by Exxon Neftegas Limited, operator for the Sakhalin 1 Consortium, for the engineering, procurement and construction of the Chayvo and Odoptu onshore processing and well site support facilities for the Sakhalin 1 project in the Russian Far East. Included in the logistics challenges were beach-landings.
  • In the 25+ years of experience Peter has been involved in a great number of FSU challenging projects consisting of project cargo and regular freight & logistics and has visited the FSU on several occasions. He has been keeping a close contact with vendors like Mammoet, ALE (Brambles), P&O Nedlloyd, Baltic Forwarding Co.(St.Petersburg) etc.
