  • On-Site logistics expert/management involvement in the Kela2 project from Shell E&P and PetroChina in the Tarim basin, XinJiang Uygur Autonomous Region, northwest China.

    Based on the joint studies between CNPC, ExxonMobil, CNPC and Shell, it is estimated that the OGIP in Kuche and northern Tarim basin is 275-395 bcm among which OGIP in Kela2 gas field is 205-280 bcm with the mostly value of 246.8 bcm. This proves a sound resources base for the commercial development of the “West-East Pipeline” project".

    Executed on-site feasibility study for all project logistics aspects, a road survey from the port of Tianjin (near Beijing) to the jobsite over a length of 4700 Km. Working out the marshalling yard requirements near the projected jobsite as well as at the last rail terminal in Kuqa (both to be constructed). Greatest challenge is the 4700 Km distance from the nearest Chinese Port and the remote location in the Tarim dessert.
  • Nanhai Project at ABB Lummus Global whereby many Customs Clearance challenges had to be overcome and planned. Involvement has been small but never the less important.
  • Being part of the SHEHUA/ABB Integrated Project Management Team for the Shehau Direct Coal Liquefaction project for Logistic set-up face of this PMC contract.
    Shenhua Group Corporation Limited is a state owned company with a line of business that extends from overall planning, development and operation of the Shenfu Dongsheg Coal Fields and related railways, Coal Terminals and Power Stations, to Power Production and all activities related to coal, up stream and down stream. 

          

  •       In the 90’s, Peter has set-up several trade lanes with China and provided customers with logistic solutions in projects and FMCG sector. Peter had set-up, and run, the import from China for the Italian department store group, "La Rinascente", and many other Italian companies. This continued during the time he had been the proprietor of Skylon International Freight Forwarders B.V. in Amsterdam, The Netherlands whereby the company was the only one able to provide sufficient import licences and the customs expertise to serve a company as large as La Rinascente (part of FIAT group)
